Job Description
ADG Creative, an IDS subsidiary is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Production Artist to support the development of high-quality creative and branded communications across digital, print, presentation, and marketing channels. This role is ideal for a design professional who excels at executing within established brand systems, creating production-ready deliverables, and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The Production Artist will work closely with marketing, communications, and business teams to ensure all creative assets meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and usability.
A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills, presentation development, typography, and layout expertise is required for consideration.
Key Duties
• Produce high-quality creative assets across presentations, social media, marketing collateral, digital campaigns, templates, and branded communications.
• Extend and apply established brand standards across new deliverables while maintaining visual consistency and attention to detail.
• Create, maintain, and improve PowerPoint, Word, Canva, and Adobe templates that are flexible, editable, intuitive, and visually polished.
• Prepare graphics and visual assets for websites, digital marketing initiatives, presentations, print materials, and internal communications.
• Adapt, resize, and reformat existing creative for multiple audiences, platforms, and delivery channels while preserving design integrity.
• Manage multiple projects and quick-turn creative requests while delivering work that consistently meets quality standards.
• Ensure layouts, typography, imagery, spacing, hierarchy, and overall design execution align with established brand guidelines and best practices.
• Prepare production-ready files and apply technical specifications required for both digital and print distribution.
• Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, usability, and technical readiness prior to final delivery.
• Collaborate with marketing and business stakeholders to translate concepts into visually compelling deliverables.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required. Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree.
• Minimum seven (7) years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within an agency, consulting, professional services, or in-house marketing environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional typography, layout, presentation design, and visual hierarchy skills.
• Experience designing within established brand systems and adapting creative across multiple formats and channels.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Working knowledge of digital and print production best practices.
• No security clearance required.
Technology
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills, including experience creating polished presentations, master slides, and editable templates.
• Experience designing and developing content within the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma is preferred.
Compensation
• Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000

• Hybrid work environment with in-person collaboration in Columbia, MD and opportunities for remote work when appropriate.
