IDS International is seeking a Equipment/Inventory Management Specialist (EIMS) to support the “Total Maintenance Contract for the Kaiserslautern Military Community.” The EIMS is responsible to account for all GFEBS equipment inventory, and monitor all maintenance orders in GFEBS, and required to analyze all inventory and maintenance data to prevent duplication of work (PMO versus DMO, and OWO).This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all GFEBS equipment inventory.
- Monitor all maintenance orders in GFEBS and analyze them to prevent a duplication of work.
- Add and modify all equipment inventory in GFEBS and resolve any equipment related GFEBS issues (e.g., equipment record is missing in GFEBS and Help Desk is not able to issue a maintenance order for particular equipment).
- Accountable for ensuring the documentation is always current and correct, providing regularly scheduled reports to management.
- Other contractual duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Management or Business Administration, or Foreign Country Equivalent.
- Documented five (5) years of experience in Project Management for the Equipment and Inventory (skills to include: reviewing the Equipment List, confirming the asset number, description, serial number, current user, codes; disposed equipment; completion and certification of the Annual Certification of Equipment Inventory). Education requirement may be waived with demonstrated 10 years of experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE). Experience with property management system audits include planning, scheduling, notification, system corrections, sample selections, receipt of property, conducting inventory, disposition of equipment, and contract closeout.
- Ability and knowledge to formulize Equipment List and Preventive Maintenance Schedule in SAP software environment.
Language Requirements:
- English and German at level 4 proficiency: At this level an employee is required to possess a high degree of proficiency in both written and spoken English, including the ability to translate the host country language into precise and correct English, and English into the applicable foreign language. On occasion, an employee at this level might be expected to act as an interpreter in situations where considerable importance attaches to proper word meaning.
Computer Skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
