Job Description
IDS is seeking an experienced Site Security Manager (SSM) to support secure construction activities in Misawa, Japan. The SSM is responsible for enforcing all security requirements in accordance with ICD 705, managing the Construction Security Plan (CSP), conducting inspections, documenting incidents, and maintaining oversight of all personnel and materials entering the site.
Key Duties
• Ensure the security of the construction site in accordance with ICD 705.
• Develop, implement, and manage the Construction Security Plan (CSP).
• Maintain 24‑hour unrestricted access to the site.
• Conduct periodic inspections to verify ongoing compliance with the CSP.
• Document all security violations and notify the RSO and tenant AO.
• Exercise stop‑work authority in the event of security violations.
• Maintain and update the list of all personnel on the project.
• Implement procedures to deny unauthorized access.
• Coordinate with construction firms to ensure adherence to all security requirements.
• Notify the RSO and AO if any construction requirement cannot be met.
Requirements
• Active U.S. TS/SCI
• Prior experience managing security operations within secure/ICD 705 environments.
• Ability to perform inspections, maintain documentation, and communicate with government officials.
• Flexibility to support operations in Misawa, Japan.
