Security Assistance Team (SAT) / Tactical Trainer Position
IDS International is seeking former US Army Special Forces (18 Series) and/or Ranger Qualified personnel for OCONUS employment. Candidates must have previously served in a Special Forces Group, 75th Ranger Regiment or Ranger Training Battalion as a Ranger Instructor. Applicants will have served as a Squad Leader or above (SF and/or Ranger Qualified).
Job Location: OCONUS – Camp Taji, Iraq
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be part of a Security Assistance Team (SAT) located in Camp Taji, Iraq, training foreign Special Operations students. Training will include basic and advanced Soldier skills, Light Infantry, Ranger/SUT, CQB and other SOF skills and mission essential tasks.
Qualifications for this Position:
- Applicants must be able to achieve a score of 270 points or higher on the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) for their age group.
- Applicants shall have at least three (3) years’ experience in their subject matter expertise and possess expert knowledge in the small unit tactics they will be teaching.
Preferred skills and experience are:
- Squad Leader or above/ODA Member; 75th Ranger Regiment Non-Commissioned Officer or US Army Special Forces ODA team member.
- Recent experience, within the last eight (8) years conducting training and/or combat operations in theater, with partner force Special Operators.
- Experience teaching Ranger, Small Unit Tactics, CQB (intermediate and advanced), basic and advanced pistol and rifle marksmanship, sniper, mechanical breaching, mounted/mobility operations and dismounted urban operations.
Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
