The Field Service Technician II – RF/Acoustic supports overseas posts by testing, maintaining, and reporting on equipment in the field. The technician reviews compliance with security standards and provides technical security solutions when needed and maintains and repairs shielded environments for overseas facilities. This position requires excellent verbal and written skills, including the preparation of detailed trip engineering services reports with acoustic and radio frequency test results, as well as documentation of maintenance and repair activities. The technician recommends and coordinates corrective actions to be resolved by domestic State groups and overseas staff, provides training for personnel, and assists with the development of training modules for maintenance and repair programs. Responsibilities also include maintaining test equipment and occasionally providing maintenance and repair support for domestic facilities. The Field Service Technician II – RF/Acoustic is responsible for working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition, to support technical and operational requirements.

• Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• HS diploma/GED; 2+ years RF/acoustic maintenance.
• Experience using RF receivers, oscilloscopes, analyzers.
• Knowledge of classified handling and OSPB standards.
