The Emanations Specialist provides domestic and overseas support through countermeasure testing, assessment, and solution development. The role involves analyzing acoustic and RF vulnerabilities, recommending appropriate mitigations, and documenting findings in detailed reports following overseas travel. The specialist develops new countermeasure solutions and testing methodologies in collaboration with the Intelligence Community (IC) and research partners, and participates in U.S. Government interagency working groups and occasionally engages with national research labs and industry partners. Responsibilities include preparing and executing test plans aligned with branch priorities, maintaining and safely operating lab test equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and tracking equipment usage. The Emanations Specialist is responsible for working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition, to support technical and operational requirements.

• BS or equivalent experience.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, acoustic analyzers.
• Strong understanding of acoustic/RF measurement principles.
