Knowledge Manager

IDS International is seeking a Knowledge Manager (KM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for supporting the analysis, assessment, and guidance on our customer’s knowledge management in terms of information technology, corporate culture, and the taxonomy and content management logs. KM will be accountable for the design, development, and release of knowledge systems, applications, and services for all business functions. The KM will also be responsible for developing KM governance structures and processes for implementing KM programs and systems and provide consulting thought leadership on current best practices in KM, portal design, and intellectual capital and content management.

  • Ensures that all employees have access to pertinent business information and knowledge.
  • Accountable for the creation and maintenance of a dedicated SharePoint site. Using SharePoint, shall recommend knowledge content; how it will be structured, shared, controlled, and made easily accessible for the needs of the staff personnel
  • Provide knowledge management and content support to existing information portals.
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of Knowledge Management (KM) strategies.
  • Apply expertise in KM tools and deploy information management and content management strategies and experience.
  • Comprehend and recognize key barriers to KM behavioral change and develop effective change management programs. Analyze business processes, interview stakeholders, and evaluate strategic and IT plans to develop KM programs.
  • Ensure that content of knowledge repositories are current, relevant, iterative, and non-duplicative.
  • Leads in developing and implementing the policies, processes, and platforms enhancing effective information sharing and information access across entities.
  • Develops training materials and user guides and provides on-site training support to mission partners and platform users.
  • Establish a Knowledge Management Framework that defines direction, guidance, policies, and procedures for how the process of knowledge management will be performed in the organization.


  • Master’s degree in Knowledge Management (KM), Knowledge Engineering (KE), Business Administration/Management, or related degree.
  • Must have experience in designing and implementing Knowledge Management frameworks (policies and procedures)
  • International experience throughout assigned AOR and the Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone
  • Ability to travel overseas 50%.
