IDS International is currently seeking one Cyber Operations Specialist for full- or part-time employment at the National Training Center (NTC) located at Ft. Irwin, CA.
Lead, train, and mentor Cyber personnel through individual and group instruction, as well as the establishment, direction, and evaluation of Standard Operating Procedures and Job Qualification Standards.
Perform as the Subject Matter Expert leading, planning, and directing defensive and offensive cyberspace maneuvers and effects operations in and through the cyberspace domain
Directs, plans, administers, manages, integrates, and assesses cyberspace operations.
Provide technical guidance regarding the operation and management of military, Joint, intergovernmental, interagency, and multi-national cyberspace assets and personnel.
Integrate cyberspace effects into warfighting functions to optimize combat effectiveness.
Protect the Department of Defense Information Network against foreign and domestic threat vectors to maintain network integrity and functionality.
Conduct OCO by using cyber capabilities in and through cyberspace to target and neutralize threats.
OR Conduct DCO by protecting data, networks, net-centric capabilities, and other designated systems through detection, identification, and response actions to attacks against friendly networks.
Execute mission command of cyber maneuver forces during DCO and OCO missions in support of joint and combined arms operations.
Provide crucial intelligence and network support that safeguards the cyber domain.
Collect, analyze and report digital data.
Maintain network defense tools such as routers and firewalls.
Evaluate network defense operations.
Surveillance and reconnaissance actions on specified systems and networks.
Conduct network terrain audits, penetration testing, basic digital forensics and software threat.
Must have attended any of the following, or related, military career courses:
Cyber Operations Officer (17A) or Cyber Operations Specialist (17C).
Cyber Operations Technician (170A).
5+ years of experience performing the job functions listed above.
Active “Secret” or “Top Secret” security clearance.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
